LAUGH, OR YOU'LL CRY

A great example of absurdity, governmental idiocy, litigious surrealism, and the state of the society we live in.......

The following Op-Ed piece by Michael Crichton ("Jurassic Park", "State of Fear") appeared in the New York Times today....

"This Essay Breaks the Law"

Well, I guess I can't say anything about that...right? Or can I patent "saying nothing about that" and thus have the right to sue anybody who doesn't say anything about it...er, I mean 'that'?

Well, I already thought about patenting "saying nothing about it/that," but I felt better served by patenting "cite example in opening paragraph with link as final paragraph"....

But, of course, my attorney, Sawyer Cumming, a partner in the law firm of Lettus Cheatum & Howe, specializes in
veterinary and holistic malpractice defense, with the occasional foray into the defense of Catholic priests accused of child molestation......

Accordingly, I have some trepidation about his advising me to patent the
"cite example/comment/link" formula, based upon his response to my inquiring where he located precedents or lack thereof :

"Well, I Googled it, of course."
